What is our ‘why’?
It is crucial to regularly revisit and reflect on your ‘why’ when purpose plays such a central role in what you do as an organisation as it does for us. So, in our latest strategic board session we did just that. Using a theory of change approach, we defined how what we do makes a difference and why this is important. Here is what we landed on.
Purpose
We implement purpose-driven ways of working so human services organisations become places where everyone can realise their potential.
By
1. Sharing our collective skills and expertise on workplace and organisational innovation
2. Offering our specialised knowledge of high trust, shared responsibility organisational models
3. Advising on the implications of these models for governance, including quality and safeguards
And through
Working flexibly with our clients to co-produce the unique workforce and organisational solutions they need to bring their purpose and values to life.
Which in turn will result in
Customer-focused organisations with responsible, engaged workforces
That will lead to
1. People who rely on human services in their daily lives receiving higher quality support
2. The human services sector being a place where everyone’s potential is realised
3. Simpler, more efficient organisations that achieve better quality effortlessly
And subsequently
Personalised support that helps build independence and capability for people who use human services.
